handfeed the doves or sparrows.

What a sweet image.  Good clarity, and it's good that they both have their heads up rather than eating the food in this person's hand.  I'd love to hear more about how you enticed them to hand-feeding.  Are they young birds?  They seem to be.

Christal, don't know if they had been trained or not but at Byodo Temple (Oahu, Hawaii) one can feed both the doves and the sparrow from what I've read (somewhere) and as in this shot I've seen that is true for the dove. It's a neat feeling for someone who take bird photo like myself since the image project such a good feeling of ...'human connection' to the birds.

This is a beautiful image - not just because of how well you captured this moment, but for the emotive quality as well. I have always wanted to be able to feed birds out of my hand - that connection must feel amazing! Very well done. Thank you for sharing. :)
