Lots of reading behind the lions ;-)

I saw this walking back from Times Square on a cold night and

figured I'd give it a shot. Hand held, on-camera slow sync flash.

The scan came back very green, so I spent some time having fun with

it in Photoshop. Any comments and ratings would be much appreciated.

I like this one. Good work of composition. The perspective is really pleasant and lion's posture/character are more prononced with this right "point de vue". Three tones in the background work very well. A beautiful and imposing night guardian ! Beau travail et bon oeil.

Cool. Everyone likes to photograph those lions! I have one or two of the lions with wreathes around their neck (Christmas season) that I took a while ago, but mine were boring. :p

This is a nice shot! I like how you took advantage of the extremes in lighting.
