JohnWebster 2 Posted November 30, 2011 Potentially a very nice double portrait. Technically the dark areas are too black. Any dark area that measures RGB levels below 20 will have difficulty displaying detail. Much of your dark areas measure 1-5 and thus you have blocked, no detail areas and little subject separation from background. I used the shadow-highlights image adjustment in photoshop cs to restore some separation and the illusion of detail in the darkest areas. I dodged the horse's eye with the highlight dodge to return detail there. I hope this helps. Good luck in the future. Link to comment
