I have a few moments that bother me in this portrait:

a darker line in left upper corner,

cropped out pendant and

one eye is slightly less sharp than the other.

Am I being too picky?

Thank you for your help!

i don't think you're being overly picky at all. in fact...it's this close attention to detail that will make you a better photographer.

i actually think the dark shadowed bokeh at top is a nice touch that however inadvertant, helps to frame the shot. as for the pendant, yes...if she were to wear it, it would have been good if it had been within the frame. but in this case, i'm not sure i like either of the necklaces/pendants for this shot. the partial one hangs too far down and the other...i just don't like, and it needs to be straightened to our left, her right. jewelry should serve to enhance the shot...not distract, and i'm just not sure that either work in this photo.

there is much more light on the model than in the other shot you posted, and imo...this is a much, much better shot. the backlighting on her hair is beautiful, but it would have been nice if you could have posed your model so that it did not strike her right shoulder.  hope this helps!  keep on being picky!  nice picture!

In this lovely photograph I would prefer to eliminate both pendants or at least the upper one.  What then remains is a naturally pleasing, nicely backlit representation.  Regards
