Amy, this photo was taken in Soddy-Daisy, a little over a year ago.  I started to go by to see if the car was still there...as the last time i saw it, it was sitting on the side of the road with a "for sale " sign on it.  it's not far from where i live...so i'll make a point to go by, and if it is still there...and you'd like to shoot it, i'll send you directions, or Patty and I would be glad to take you by some day if we get together for a shoot!

thanks, Jamie.  i really can't think of anything i'd rather photograph than old cars...just need to make more of an effort to do so. what i especially love about vintage automobiles is that it's difficult to find a single straight line. almost every part is as curvy as jane mansfield... ;)

I like this for its stark presentation, geometric balance and subtly nostalgic tones. It really has its own unique power.
