Interesting comparison between the two postings but I think this one has the edge in terms of clarity and depth. The clouds have allowed a better balance of light and therefore the distant tree line has more detail to explore. Both offer the same early morning atmosphere, but I have to say this one appears more natural and gets my vote.

Thank you Alf.  I too like this one better.  I like the greater head space for the trees and the clarity as well.  There is much less mist in this shot; I think it helps.  I wish I could agree that it is the most natural, as I believe there would be those to disagree, this is HDR.  It was created by a single exposure multiplied by 5 different exposure levels 1EV apart, combined then tone mapped.  I had to desaturated the reds a bit to give the image a more natural look.  Thank you again for your critique and comments.
