Thanks J for your comments. Yes, I wondered about the saturation on the engine.  This is how Capture NX processed the raw image using camera settings (saturation VIVID).  I tried toning it down but the rest of the image looked drab.

A fine job editing I think Mike. I always have loved your locomotive images. I love your presentation on this one. You have always been very talented in that area and you do not fail to please this time either.

Funny, my husband has a best friend 'Norm' and I can remember from the very first time I met him, some 20 years ago, everyone referred to him as 'Stormin Norman'. He hails from England and is a lovely fellow. I not quite sure what the 'nickname' refers to, but your title made me think of him immediately.

Then I quickly caught site of your beautiful image. I love the crop and perspective is excellent.
