Frosted Leaves

It's that time of year in the temperate regions of the northern hemisphere.

This is my take; it's a common scene, but one that I enjoy nevertheless.

You're on fire! You've come up with such a great series of images lately, and this is no exception. How far back did you have to get with the 150 to do this?

Jeff, I think I'm right on the edge of how close the lens will focus.  It gets especially difficult when the lens is pointing down, putting the viewfinder on top.  I need an extension ring (or better yet, a 120mm macro lens).

Hello Stephen: Yet another wonderful image. The detail is not only amazing, but artistically it is a delight: the contour fo the leaves and the "monochromatic" aspect of the composition is very pleasing. I have much respect for what you say about nature photography. Much to learn from you. Thank you sincerely for sharing.
