A wonderful moment, well captured. It is a bit of a shame that the light on the left is so powerful that the face loses a bit of its character there, but that is a small complaint in light of the overall effect.

A beautiful portrait, with lovely black and white tones.  I love the texture and detail you've captured in her hair, and her expression is wonderfully thoughtful.

I agree that the light on the right side of her face is very harsh...maybe try a bit of burning/recovery (in LR) to lessen the intensity.
