The distribution of masses of lights, grays and darks is what

attracted me to this vendor, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Your ratings,

critiques and observations are invited and most welcome. If you rate

harshly, very critically, or with to make a remark, please submit a

helpful and constructive comment; please share your photographic

knowledge to help improve my photography. Thanks! Enjoy! john

In many countries there are sellers of fake "gold" and "silver." And it's very strange when people believe that this is the real thing, although they are very cheap. All these things will never be cheap. But still all want something cheaper and believe deceivers. I thought it was somewhere in the Ukraine - here you can often see these sellers.

Svetlana, this is an older photo (start of my Photo.net career) and therefore taken before the huge runup in gold and silver prices and therefore the silver there (silverplate) may indeed be real.

South and Central Americans value and commonly deal in silver (or did until recently and now I have no real knowledge because of the price runup).

And silver (plate) is pretty distinctive, and easily recognzed by those who know.  Certainly this is not 'STERLING' (nearly 100%) silver.

I with ('wish' with a lisp) that were so, and that I had a large amount of that.

Thanks for your kindness in corresponding and your insight.
