Something almost prehistoric here.  An eye and a jawbone.  A sickle buried in the weeds.  A leaf here for a season, rescued from anonymity, and then remembered.  You've allowed the viewer the opportunity to relish in all that delightful abstraction of color that this little canvas provides.

So lovely, so classic. Nothing more is needed. How've you been, Amal? I'm in Novato, California through the Thanksgiving holiday so I won't be posting much until I get back to Japan. All the best, Jack

A. K. , what a graceful arc this leaf makes! And I find its imperfect form just more suitable for  display. Very nice!
