Autumn in Zion

2 horizontal images were stitched to create this expansive view in

Zion. A vertical shot using the right side was the obvious choice

(which I took as well), but with still conditions, I figured a stitch would

work out .

 

Suggestions, comments welcome.

the variety of color between the rock and tree's is unreal....beautifully shot scene Harry.....i'm already planning for a trip out there next fall

Thanks Thom - Fall seems to be getting later and later out there. You should get some good color 1st or 2nd week in November.

Great composition -- the square format works very well here (I'm imagining a single vertical of the right side, and I think the extension provided by the stitch to form a square makes this even more appealing).

This is a lovely image.   Can't wait to get back!

Excellent location and image caught,lot of colors and shapes,amazing nature corner.

By far, this is the nicest photo of Zion I have ever seen.

As a teacher I don't get any time off in the fall so I can hardly wait to retire and hit the SW for an extended photo road trip. This is an excellent Zion shot to wet my apatite.

A wonderful scene and expertly captured. On this very fine image, I would hope for different light for my tastes but you had no control over that. .

Great depth Harry and a real eye catching photograph. This area of the park must have been closed when Ray & I were there. LOL

Leo - Not sure when you were there - the Middle Pool of the Emerald Pools trail was closed but the other 2 pools were open.  I was there 1st week in Nov.
