Please elaborate on your shooting technique & work flow.  Your composition is fine in most of your shots but, to me at least, there is a 'manipulated' look to many such as this one that I find unreal & disturbing.  If it is your intention, your artistic license being exercised, then that's OK.  But I'm old school traditional with the philosophy that any manipulation should be transparent to the viewer, that is, not obvious. Please help me out here.   Best, LM.

Hi Len,

I really appreciate your frank and constructive comments regarding my photos including this one.

My post processing was done with Lightroom and I admit that sometimes I would tend to "overdo" it especially on my earlier shots.  It was a bit experimental to me as I tried to tweak the RAW images to emphasize their tone and contrasts.  But after seeing more work by other photographers, I soon realized that post-processing can enhance or harm your work, depending on how you approach it.

As a result, I am now more sensitive to how I process my RAW images with a view to preserving more of their natural appearance as opposed to creating the surreal look.

Thanks again for your valuable input.  It is important to me.

Victor
