hamidfarzandian 0 Posted November 11, 2011 This photo is a sort of time-lapse photography. When i arrived the scene, i took some multishots handheld with high ISO rating and open aperture to freeze bird action, and after that mounted and set the tripod for the bridge with low iso and closed diaph to gain max dof. Birds from the best sample of the first shots then placed on the final balanced photo of the second bracketed three shots and made "negative " the bird part after B/W conversion to impart white appearance to the birds, All elements of this conceptual work are original from the same scene. Any thoughts and suggestions are more than welcome! Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted November 12, 2011 Wonderful work Hamid. I love the light on the bridge and the way it leads you into the image. The birds are perfectly placed just above. The gray tones are exceptional IMHO. Beautiful.BR,Holger Link to comment

alfbailey 1 Posted November 13, 2011 Great concept and execution. I think the processing is inventive and retains enough natural ingredients to be plausible, whilst creating an element of the surreal with the birds. My only suggestion, well more of an idea perhaps for next time, would be to get the camera as low to the ground as possible, this would then give the illusion that the bridge was rising into the sky and the handrails would be more distinct against the sky. Thats nto to take away anything from what you have created here, it was an ingenious idea to start with. Well done Hamid!Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
hamidfarzandian 0 Posted November 15, 2011 I greatly appreciate your kind words, nice suggestions and continuous support, dear friends. Alf: Actually a very good suggestion. I did some sort of shots at that moment ( i took near 150 shots there with different compositions and characteristics, some with framings near your suggestion ), and i found after that a more mood and "surreality" in them with prominent bridge and sky, somewhat isolated and lonely. Thak you so much for your time and very beneficial suggestions. My best wishes,Hamid. Link to comment

cosminalba 0 Posted November 17, 2011 A hard road to redemption. Concrete, steel, white doves, a dramatic sky, a bridge across the water. All these elements form a great shot with an interesting storyCongratulations. My best regards. Cosmin Link to comment
jsalazar 0 Posted November 22, 2011 As I think that an apprentice as I am, may do an observation to the master as you are, and since you always show a great open mind about this fact, then I would suggest to slow down a bit the bird's exposition, in order to make them look more real among this quite beautiful moody scene!...As always a great and beautiful landscape photo, Hamid!Best and warm regards!Jesus Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted November 28, 2011 Skillful editing and an eye for composition has offered us a very artistic image, one that makes me want to 'step onto' this bridge and experience the 'freedom' that this image conveys. Lovely work with 'light' and imagination Hamid! My kindest regards,Gail Link to comment
