mike_palermiti 3 Posted November 11, 2011 Hi Hannu,I have used the Leica Digital Module on my R9 camera , along with many fine Leica R lens. While this is a "moody" scene, the image does lack sharpness and contrast worthy of the very fine Leica 100mm F/2.8 macro. Now, perhaps this is what you wanted and you de-focused the lens or did something in post processing. Even the F/16 stop would not produce an image this "soft".There are little details as to what you did to make this capture.Best Regards, Mike Link to comment
hansdans 0 Posted November 12, 2011 Thank You for commenting - indeed the aim was to get a moody, soft painting like photo of a very cold sunrise - just to show the fine colors and light changes on the other side of the lake - so the photo is indeed enlargement and a cropping "full frame" to get the "layers and light shown on the "other side":) br Hannu Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted November 12, 2011 Hello Hannu, In MHO I like it better not viewed larger. To me it has more of the artistic painterly effect to it when viewed at the presented size. Nice work either way.BR,Holger Link to comment
hansdans 0 Posted November 12, 2011 Thank You for commenting - the size of viewing is of course a personal preference. Anyhow, the landscape or scenery documented offers both choices - and I hope to find more time and places like this in the future. br Hannu Link to comment
