Outstanding light and detail. Now if you can just train him to land on something prettier than the metal post. I might add that the ratings are getting rather obtuse around here.

From your current series I have to conclude that these guys are better "mousers" than cats!  Excellent shot and the lighting is perfect... Mike

Thanks Monte! I had this shot for a while but never posted it because I did not like that metal post either. He kept flying from metal fence to metal pole 200, 300 yards apart and finally landed on this one inside a chain link fence with the light on the wrong side. It's a desperate shot on my part through the fence (while catching my breath) but it came out ok (as long as we try not to look at that metal post, LOL).

 

Thanks Michael! Yes, they are very good at catching those field mouse. One time he landed, walk around looking and then went insdie a bush and finally came out a minute later with a field mouse. I got that shot but the quality was kind of poor.
