River Place, Frankenmuth, MI

River Place is a Bavarian style shopping center in Frankenmuth,

Michigan. A brief rain really brought out the golden color and

reflections.

The gold is beautiful.  I like the "star" effect with the lights.  Timing is everything, and as you mentioned, I doubt the scene would retain its luster were it not so drenched.

Yeah, we were disappointed when it started to rain, but in hindsight, it was a blessing in disguise. The rain sent most of the shoppers home and we got to explore this little Bavarian wonderland almost undisturbed.

As for this particular shot, I was hoping to get the little wheelbarrow more inside the frame, but it was up against a planter that I really didn't want to include. This was about as good as I could get it without sacrificing the background composition.

The golden ligts are beautiful. I wish the FG element direction was a bit different but it is still a very beautiful composition.

Me too, Just couldn't get this wheelbarrow to work for me. 

Yes, I'm back and stomping around PN again. Finally got some snow around here (just a little anyway). Hoping to get out with the camera again real soon.
