Great shot, a bit overblown highlights (nothing distracting though). Don't you wish to have an assistant to hold a diffuser above the bird to soften the light... he he he... Jokes aside, I love it.

if you search for perfection, be careful with the background.( The white disturn the eye ).

This is a gorgeous picture! Definitely a 9.5 I agree with the above about the hot highlights and the white background on right, but this is still superb. Anyway, if it were perfect, what would you aspire to? ;-)

This is one of my favorites on photo.net. I thought it was the beak, but now I'm convinced it's the eyes. Great lighting.
