The foreground image was made with Apophysis 7x Version 15, the background with PSPP.

Apophysis is VERY complex, and with a LONG learning-curve, as you might expect with such a comprehensive 3-D modeling and rendering package which also supports animation.  This software has been used to create many sequences for movies, commercials and music videos, in addition to myriad stills.  Have FUN... if you choose to explore its potential!
