jgalyon 0 Posted November 12, 2011 thanks, David. i'm really fond of this picture...but it apppears (by the lack of response to it) that you and i find ourselves in the minority! ;) regard, John Link to comment
vezio paoletti 0 Posted November 16, 2011 beautiful image. I like your accurate post production. The cow and the windows are looking straight the camera playing a strange, alienating, symmetry.congratsvezio Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 16, 2012 A kind of iconic view of America, nicely set with an almost staged feeling especially aided by the treatment and particularly the treatment of the background which reads like theatrical scenery. The vignetting too gives a sense of unreality even while the real-ness of the situation is apparent. The engagement of the cow is a draw and the solitude and wear of the house makes a nice companion. One gets a strong sense of place and of calm. The layering gives it dimension and the foreground sets up a kind of distance that is more meditative than direct. It's almost as if this could be a memory or dream rather than an actual moment in time. Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted December 28, 2012 A very good nostalgic feeling to this one; the friendly cow to greet visitors is a nice touch. Very well done, great processing. Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
