pnital 36 Posted November 1, 2011 It is a nother scene of Limelight, which is a returning show , a choreography by Tamir Ginz and his dance group" Kamea "(talisman). For me it was a new experiment. Here is a part of the concept ,that was written in the leaflet entering the dance hall:"Full evening piece based on the myth of Charlie Chaplin. Chaplin, the 20th century idol, here the symbol of a committed artist, encounters the dancers of today in a surrealistic piece. A glimpse into the soul of an artist, the stories of desire and love, the various personalities, the wished for success and the chase after a creative dream. Inspired by/ with the philosophy of "Limelight" the piece revives known scenes from contemporary films. ..."Some how part of this dance reminds me" The Chairs" by Eugene Ionesco, the Romanian/French playwriter...Interesting dance choreography by Tamir's work that I like very much. Thanks for viewing. Link to comment

ldavidson 4 Posted November 3, 2011 Pnina, I see thought and emotion in your work. You shoot things from your own unique, personal perspective that shows a depth of thoughts and feelings. This is very dramatic with great colors, nice positioning of the dancers wonderful tones. I like what A.K. Sircar above says: "an image of grace, strength and motion"Best wishes,Linda Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted November 4, 2011 The stage lighting here is very effective with the two forward figures modeled by the light and the third figure in softer, semi-darkness. The triangular composition is especially strong. Very nice work, Pnina, you're lucky to be able to photograph such creative and dynamic performers at close range and you do it so very well. jeff.grant 0 Posted November 4, 2011 Pnina, this is excellent, beautifully framed with the motion stopped and the three figures well separated. Link to comment

tonyfrench 0 Posted November 5, 2011 Pnina, I really like the emphasis on the arms giving each of the dancers a clear sense of individuality within the whole. The production design of this is really lovely with the neutral tones of the clothes against the set and the quality of the light on the figures. Link to comment
3m 0 Posted November 6, 2011 Just echoing the above comments, Pnina -- I too really appreciate the different triangular movements ( & directions) captured, and the way you composed them within the frame. Best regards to you, Marjolein Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted November 9, 2011 Your work always feels like you've offered a little nibble off the buffet. I wish I could see the entire dance in context. The arms of the three dancers are nicely arranged, giving a sense of the (continued) motion. Link to comment
j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted November 10, 2011 Pnina, I lost contact with Chipsy for many years. As for Cherlyn the last time we met is about few months ago. She is fine and she travel quite often. I hardly contact her too. Link to comment
LindaM 2 Posted November 18, 2011 Wonderfully composed. Nice how each dancer forms a triangle alone, and the three of them form another triangle. Very solid and balanced, yet the one leg off the ground of the front dancer keeps this from being static. Link to comment
