Hi David, very good flower picture you have here. Good sharpness and nice dark background helping the flower to stand out. Composition is also good with the flower coming out from a corner, but I might have moved the camera up a bit for making this shot so that the picture shows just a little of the stem while there will be more of space above the flower. This is personal taste only and others may not feel the same. I might also brighten the flower a bit to give more impact. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Robert.

David, this is a simple well presented image. i do agree with Robert about exchanging a wee bit of the stem for a bit more room at the top. your color combination works really nicely except for the white, it being the only bright color here, it pulls your eye, or your at least aware of it when viewing your image.  you also have really good definition here. these lilies and the arum lilies would probably be my favorite flowers to work with. nice work!

I just quickly wanted to put my 2 cents in by saying that I agree with Roger and Robert. The colour and the composition is great - it is a wonderful flower shot. The only thing worth discussing is the fact that it does perhaps look a bit cramped in the photo and instead of giving up a bit of the stem, which does a wonderful job of creating a flow in the photo, I would have suggested moving back from the image ever so slightly to give the flower a bit more space.

All in all a great photo!
