the veil

it is my first time to alter a portrait. I think the title, the photo and the

texture fits this image. What do you think and suggest. Thanks

The texture works nicely with this photo. I am seeing some halos around the top of the head and on the left side of the face. Also, look at the right side of the neck, there is a white halo there. My guess would be this happened when you sharpened the image. Try a smaller radius when sharpening, this should eliminate the halo. You could also use a mask and limit your sharpening to just where it is needed.

Very nice image and I do enjoy it and think that the composition is strong. The contrast and the b&w are good also.

The image is very fine and with some great contrast and fine pose of the good model,

I just think that the textures are too much strong for this image ,IMO I think decreasing it to 50% opacity or even less ,may be suitable for this very good portrait.
