Moonrise-Sunset Over The Two Mittens (View Larger)

Popular places like this are photographed so much, that's hard to find

a new and different angle. This is my attempt to do just that and of

course the moon didn't hurt my efforts.This is a 6 exposures HDR which

was needed to contain the dynamic range.

Yes I have so much photograph of this place but this one is featured and distinguished.

A beautiful scene capture.

Of course there are techniques that allow this to be done in a single shot, too. The choice of lens, f-stop and using 14 bits of the camera's dynamic range will be ample to do this in a one shot.

I do applaud your effort in using 6 images HDR.

Great landscape, Leo.  Your use of HDR is perfect, as colors are not overdone and the picture closely matches what the eye sees.  Having photographed this area, I'm with you, it would be hard to get this dynamic range out of just one photo.  Aloha.
