Moonrise Over The Mittens (View Larger)

The sun had just set and I was quite happy with the photographs I had

just taken, when all of a sudden here comes the moon. To say that I

was delighted was an understatement. This is such a well photographed

place that I needed something extra to distinguish mine from all the

others and the moon did just that. Talk about some luck!

fabulous shot and mood.. (i wonder if the moon can be burned a little in PS to bring up its texture)... congrats..

Thank you and there is some detail in the moon but at its level of brightness its mostly obscure. I experimented and to get more detail in such a small moon it would make it look too dark.

fabulous! Love the colours, the leading line effect created by the road, and the sun almost right above the central mitten.
