These three elephants were captured/photographed at Melbourne zoo. The

large bull elephant was allowed to spend time with the rest of the

family unit in the hope he would breed with one of the dominant female.

Is an unique  way you present this powerful and splendid subject,all the beauty and representative characteristics of this mammal are here,dark light make this of course more interesting,compliments and thank you for this awesome composition.

You have yourself another splendide addition to your 'zoo family'of compositions Art. In your 'signature style', you've given us a glimpse of the male bonding with the young ones, a sight seldom seen. This communication inofitself, is very moving. The youngsters, you would think, would not socialize often with the 'bull'. The animal kingdom surprises me more every day, and even more so when I visit your images of the Melbourne Zoo.

This is a delighful composition, artistically presented and welcomed, I am sure, by us all. Nice work Art. Thankyou for sharing such a 'touching moment'.

Thank you all very much for your thoughts and  ratings. These amazing animals were a joy to photograph and seldom do visitors have the opportunity to witness the socialisation of the male bull with the females and calfs
