Thanks Ruud and Gregory.  Yes, this is a heavily cropped handheld shot in a dark jungle.  Lots of noise!   The Canon 1D IV is great for speed and rapid focus when shooting birds, and in low light, but it in no way approaches my 5D2 when it comes to IQ.  Aloha.
