........ of Australias only nocturnal heron. Feeds on fish, birds eggs and fledgelings at night. Hides in thick scruby bushlands during the day.

An exciting find.

Hi Grayham,

Superb results !

Technically spot on.

A beautiful nature scene like this is so nice to sit back and enjoy.

Best Regards,  Mike

Out in daylight, this Australian Night Heron is very wary and it took me

an absolute age to sneak up on this fellow and capture some images. A

real "cat and mouse" game that was a lot of fun. I like to think that

some of the images represent the amount of effort required to get them.

As always, I appreciate your time and comments.............

Hi Grayham, your recent images of the Herons have been sensational, very just rewards for what I imagine took time and patience.

Very best wishes and regards to you and Louise for the coming festive season.

I appreciate your time in stopping by, and your kind comments. Thank you.

He was very much "on the move", searching for supper (hence the concentration) and as my later images show, he got his just rewards.

Thanks for your time..........

Thank you for taking the time to look at my other images of this lovely Heron. Each outing presented a different set of issues to overcome..... in the main, finding it and the prevailing inclement weather. Nevertheless, a fun exercise and I am quite pleased with the results.

Your comments are really appreciated and I wish you and yours a great festive season.

Best regards
