To The Point-Sunset Point (View Larger)

This was taken at Sunset Point in Bryce Canyon at sunset. It an HDR

consisting of 5 exposures blended using Photomatix Pro 4.1 and then

finished in both Lightroom and CS5.

Very nice HDR image. I think a little more contrast and clipping the blacks a little might bring the details out a little more.

Very good image. Maybe with more contrast it could be better.

It was near sunset and this scene was in almost complete shade of a very soft light. Your rendition has way too much contrast for this situation and makes it look too harsh for my liking. I not saying you're wrong, but it just doesn't say what I wanted my photograph to say. Thanks for you input.

This is a super rendition of the hoodoos in Bryce and your soft contrast reflects the wonderful lighting that time of the day gives your photograph.

All though your contrasty copy is nice, it reflects a photo that was shot around high noon.  As I was with Leo when he took this shot I can guarantee you it wasn't at noon.  His lighting is spot on.
