JamieK 1 Posted October 23, 2011 I like this one very much. Dynamic composition, and all. I love the wood, the bricks, the bike, even the blank white bit. best, j Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 23, 2011 Great street find again and very solid and high quality B/W capture, the lighting is extremely phenomenal and so the details are of very fine nature, your contrast and tone are also of great add to your well thought off composition. Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best. Link to comment
mike_palermiti 3 Posted October 23, 2011 Hi Ruud,An excellent image with ample clarity and a wide range of tones present.A simple scene with a solid impact as to the story it tells. The white wall contrasted to the dark window of the cafe is where the story resides.Best Regards, Mike Link to comment
3m 0 Posted October 23, 2011 Very nice one indeed, Ruud..! I like the way you composed it, almost split in two... A dark and a lighter side; the bike on the ground breaks the diagonal pattern in a nice 'circular way' . Hartelijke groet & een fijne zondag avond verder, Marjolein Link to comment

HermanRoes 6 Posted October 25, 2011 Hello Ruud,For me the image falls apart in two halves and it is as if the two halves have no relation to each other. The large white field in the middle disturbs the photo and thus makes the bike a bit without context. The left part is a great B&W image with deep beautifull blacks in it. The right part is a bit lost. The bike with its position on the pavement is disturbing here the composition by blocking the outflowing line.Kind regardsHerman Link to comment
