Thanks Holger for commenting.Grid girls attend car races &  are sponsered by car products to advertise their logo. The race cars are sponsered also & the girls come onto the track before the race begins & stand by. Other duties are to give away promotional material & be available for the general public to pose for photographs with them or just themselves.Its all to add a little glamour to the event & draw a bigger crowd to attend.       John
