At times, we go through experiences that often make us question

how we think; our values; and often, how we interpret other's actions

or words. Before we actually can call it 'Soul Searching', we

often 'torment' ourselves unnecessarily. By the time we are

actually 'Soul Searching', sometimes we just have to give ourselves

a shake, and realize that 'other's actions or harsh words' truly do not

matter in the Big Picture'. If we conduct ourselves with Love in our

hearts and minds, and face life with 'GOOD INTENTIONS', then

truly, "Love, is all you need". We'd rid ourselves of much 'torment' if

we remembered that simple 'Principle'. ( I am no philosopher, just a

novice photographer trying to 'journey on'. I appreciate your visit and

comments, thankyou for dropping by, Gail)

Many thaks for that very kind comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the compositon. Flowers surely are a symbol of Love to me. Especially when we care so tenderly for them in our gardens, and because of the enjoyment I have when I visit the Garden Centres!

My deepest appreciation for your visit Pierre,

What a title here and with this light wise painted image well, it works superbly with it, your creative mind never fail to come out with amazing images as the case with this one, the finishing touches are also of very pleasant nature, the tone and the scratches shows the effect of aging to this image also and thats well enhances the composition.

Thank you for sharing it my friend and wishing you all of the best.

Good morning dear friend Rashed, I hope this morn greets you kindly, and that 'no worries' are ahead for the day. Thank you for your 'good morning' greeting and those lovely words for me to 'retire' to. You are a great support to so many on this site Rashed. I especially appreciate your support and encouragement, as I am sure so many do. Your presence and the work you post delights many, and truly is appreciated by 'your following'.

Take care, and know that you are an important part of this family on PN. All the best for an enjoyable day,

Warmest regards, Gail

You are so right, but sometimes I think without LOVE in our hearts and minds FIRST, we don't always find the successful job that provides the cash needed in order to purchase the physical food. We have to start somewhere, so why not with LOVE? I think a heart and mind that dwells on what is good and right in Life, feeds on LOVE, and is much stronger to 'bear' the times when 'our coffers are barren'.

I'm not suggesting live in a 'Fairy Tale', I'm suggesting we start with the basic necessities of Life. My Mother had a bookmark that was written by 'Author Unknown'. But it spoke of LOVE and KINDNESS, and went something like this -

Now what is LOVE? LOVE is the first QUICK  INSTINCT of the HUMAN HEART. When a child is born, it's first instinct is to reach for the warmth of the breast of the Mother to suckle, to feel  her warmth and seek to be nutured by her Love.

A babe needs 'food' but it also needs 'Love' to survive and develop both emotionally and physically. Even animals need love to survive.

A heart that is loving will survive more easily that one that is negative and full of spite and bitterness. Love, I suggest is a 'starting place', and we go on from there.

I know when a person does not feel 'loved', they are often depressed and loose their 'appetite'. The will to live is often no longer important.

Who is to know for sure, but mankind has proved that a world wrought with hatred is doomed for disaster. But one that begins with Love and Caring for his fellow human being, does have a chance to thrive.

But you may be right Kombizz, I am no expert. Thanks for your thoughts, Gail

Thankyou Art, your words inspire and the compliment is received in the form of encouragement to strive to always do better. Your images of the animals at the Zoo have your 'heart of love' living and breathing in them. They are a testament to the kind of man you are, and the way you live your life.

Thankyou for dropping by and sharing your thoughts with me,

Most sincerely, Gail

a wonderful work - you've managed to orchestrate blossoms, their colours, background and textures to a very pleasant image. I personally would have preferred not to have the text in the image itself. I prefer subtle hints or indirect messages, the viewer has to detect on his/her own - but I admit that risks that message are not understood and sometimes you just have to be explicit.

To Kombizz: well, you're right according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs, physiological needs are basis for other needs like love - but I guess it is debatable whether such a strict hierarchy isn't too theoretical.

Best regards, Wolfgang

It can be any thing in viewers imagination -- poster, vintage post card or just well presented work... It is all about the art, and you did it by your own and unique way!

If this were a 'greeting card' at a bookstore, it would be my choice for its beauty, meaning and the emotion it conveys.

Beautifully done, Gail
