Excellent use of ICM! I might have cropped off the white on the top, but that is just a personal choice (I have left this on many of my photos and now can see that it might look better without)! Still, excellent work!

I like the headspace that the white allows, but the brightness is slightly distracting. Would dropping the ISO have helped this? The lense is already stopped down, and a faster shutter would have lost some of the blur. Interesting shot.

Evan, Russel, I like to think of the negative space at the top of the frame as both a logical conclusion and as a framing device. From grass roots to sky with the influence of the elements, wind, in between... thanks so much for the constructive comments... R
