Very interesting work.  I agree with previous comments, that the blue haze makes this a strong image.

It reminds me of impressionistic paintings.

On second look, I see those aren't birches after all, but aspen. (I think!) In any event, I still like the simple b&w contrast of the tree trunks interspersed among so much color. A well-composed ensemble. Also, the slight tinge of blue haze gives the scene a somewhat otherworldly, ethereal feel. I've marked this photo as one of my favorites.
