Marc, if I may be so bold, I think this is an important image for you. Most of your images are massively dramatic but this one is different. This one looks more natural, softer and perhaps more classic. I think it still has your signature but it represents to me at least a broadening of your approach. I think also that this would sell very well in a gallery setting - just a guess. I like it very much. With respect, Jeremy

I've always mixed in a fair amount of much more subtle and intimate work with my more dramatic stuff.  Things have been more dramatic of late though and that's just a result of where I've been - two of the continent's most rugged and steep mountain ranges and lots of great light.

Marc, I love the softness of this beautiful composition. I think it is perfectly balanced. Gratulations. Henrik

Hello Marc,

This is the first time I see your more subtle and intimate work.

I love both.  I will keep coming back to your portfolio.

It gives me a benchmark for my own work. I realize I still have a long way to go, but if you keep posting pictures like this, i will have a very pleasant journey.

Hello Marc!

This is truly a wonderful Caputure of the peaceful special moment at sun rise in the morning Marc!

You truly made an exquisite exposure and added the most beautiful composition of this morning light flooded misty landscape!

Thanks a lots for sharing this excellent very good photograph with us Marc!

(I saw a documentary program here in Sweden about "Mr Pine" or the Professor Baen Bien-U who is photographing misty trees in Korea and this your photo reminds me of his photos!)

Best Regards,

Spectacular Mark.  In fact a limited (or less than full) tonal range is a feature of many of your images, including the more dramatic scenes.  This has inspired me to experiment with my own work.  Through your example I've discovered that absolute blacks aren't always needed to give an image punch.
