Here's another view of New Navajo Falls. Please correct if I've got the name  wrong. It was some mid day shooting on the way up to the village to taste some of the yummy fry bread the Havasu Tribe makes. It was a little strange to have ice cream during a 40 mile backpacking trip! The didn't have ice but they were selling frozen gatorade? Anyway I liked the little tree all by itself on the right side of the frame.  My friend is swimming just below the tree for some added scale.

you nailed this one, Steve!  love the fact that you were able to perfectly pull off the slow shutter speed in the shaded area, and simultaneously getting a perfect exposure on the sun lit areas. great detail in the rocks as well.   congrats on a fine shot!

Another wonderful shot of this location Steve. Great composition and light. Its one of those shots that make you wish you had been there, or make you think when can I go. Excellent shot well seen and executed. Congrats William

Very fine shot considering the difficult lighting contrasts.  I wish I could do that!  The hard transition from the soft blue water to the rock just above it near the LR corner looks off to me... perhaps softening that would prevent that rock from looking like it is floating ;-)  Also the black intrusion on the top edge in the middle of the waterfall flow is curious; maybe you could crop or clone it out?  Cheers!
