jim_air 0 Posted October 20, 2011 Excellent ! The father's face and the baby's face are so clear. My wife and I have become grandparent's for the first and second time, both this year. We both love such photos. This is especially well done. We tend to expect the look of tenderness of the father.Best viewed large. Thank you for sharingJim Link to comment
herma 0 Posted October 22, 2011 The money shot would have been the baby making eyecontact with dad too. But that would have been nearly impossible. As it stands, this is a nice intimate portrait. Link to comment
3m 0 Posted October 23, 2011 Lovely..! Here you really plainly captured the 'pure essence' of the moment, I believe... The look of the new father towards the baby appears genuine, and moving. The dark & subdued colors are well done (including that of the skin tones). The tight format and natural pose work very well too, imo. A (timeless) photo... One to keep and treasure for years to come... Link to comment
deb1 0 Posted October 23, 2011 Thank you...This was one of my poses as I prefer to capture a moment that tells a story. I try to blend the props the mother wants included in the shoot along with my simple approach which is to capture the moments that unfold between the parents and newborn. This was my favorite of all the images. Thank you for your encouraging words regarding this image.deb Link to comment
