Hi Tore,

thank you very much for your appreciation.

This scene is one out of the book 'Survival Of The Fittest'.

The adult penguin may have three to four chicks. When the adult arrives from gathering krill, way out into the sea, the chicks start begging for food.

The parent then runs away as fast as possible. The only chick that keeps up with the pace gets fed. The othesr may die soon.

That's a penguin's life!

cheers

Sam

Hi Pierre,

it's wonderful indeed as only this chick managed to get fed. Mother Penguin ran fast &her  three youngsters trailed behind, hungy as hell. Only the one that kept up the race got food. Survival of the fittest, illustrated!

Thanks very much for your appreciative comments.

cheers

Sam

the colours on the beak are too over saturated and actually detract from the image, likewise the feet are too orange, when in reality they are more yellow in colour. IMHO
