Sam_Ryan1664884851 0 Posted October 17, 2011 I like the way the trees lead me into the image to find the single tree on the horizon, which is also quite curved and adds to the mystery. I can't begin to guess how you processed this one, but it is powerful! The black bit on the right when paired with the curved horizon gives the impression of two globes crashing together. marcadamus 1 Posted October 17, 2011 Hi Sam, thanks. Processing was very easy on this one, actually! All the color comes strait from the RAW file with no additional adjustments. I did double-process the RAW though - once with a curves adjustment for fill light and once without so that I was able to pull a hint of detail out of the backlit trees. After painting those two together I dodge/burned a little bit here and there. About 10 minutes all told. Link to comment

juanpavon 0 Posted October 19, 2011 Great Marc ! A dramatic and powerful composition, these trees twisted and bare, with the dominant red atmosphere, make this image very powerful and attractive. Congratulations on your great work and thanks for sharing these fantasy scenarios. Greetings from admiration! ;)) Link to comment
marcadamus 1 Posted October 19, 2011 If you were on my Glacier National Park tour you'd have seen that there was nothing fantasy about this scenario we all photographed here :-) Link to comment
