I despise spiders but this photograph has wondeful detail and captures behavior. Very nice but gives me the chills.

Joseph: Spiders are well adapted insects and of some reason they seem to give us "chills" like snakes (?).  I hope this photo reduces the feeling as they are mostly harmless - at least in Europe.  However, they are with us everywhere and having had the fortune to examine those around here in detail they live in harmony with us- if there is mutual respect:) The conflict which gives us the "chills" normally begins when this does not occur...  br Hannu
