Thanks for viewing/comments! Perching on a vertical branch is a difficult

task and every so often he would slide down the stick and try to balance

with the wings as such ..

Beautiful! Not sure what the people who rated this so low were looking at?

3.50 average is really off the chart!

Thanks Line! I have not gone into rating a few years now, hence, sort of supprise you can view rating as such. I only see the rating total at the photo (above 5, I think) and I have no clue as how it's calculated. In any event, rating is not very important but rating with constructive comment to cheer or to suggest improvement on future shot is much more important. Happy .. bird shooting! :-)

Thanks Gregory!

Thanks Mr Mancil! I always appreciate you stopping by, I've been thinking of not checking in for rating myself since it's not what I look for. For example, I've been shooting more wide open f-stop because of Mike Palermiti comments and discover that in many cases opening up the f-stop produce great result. That is what I am looking for aside from the base touching and cheers!

On top of all that, I always appreciate the wrinkle lines you give me from laughing so hard at times with your ... interesting takes. Greetings from SoCal! :-)

Thanks Linh! Happy birdshooting!

I've seen birds on vertical branches before, but they usually come at the branch from the side and have both feet on the same side.  I've never seen anything like this with feet crossed.  This is a great capture, my friend.....despite any low ratings you may have received.
