Incredible shot Vladimir, the title "Haste" is very well chosen.

The musician in the background and the old woman seem to simultaneously compete with and balance out the commotion on the left hand side.

The advertisements in the right corner and the glass building in the back seem to indicate that this is a busy urban environment in which haste is often the order of the day. As a result, the photo grounds the viewer in the stability of the old woman and musician in a way that really extends this shot to something of a social critique. The endless rush that is "life in the city" is very well symbolized by the briefcase in flux throughout the left side of the photo.

This is a fantastic photo that has interesting critical elements, a great title, and ample room for analysis. I hope to see more shots like this in the future! Keep up the great work Vladimir! Rated 7/7.

All the best,

Stan.

Order on the right.  Also great.  I prefer the other one, though.  This one becomes so abstract.  best, j

fascinating, Vlad; in my personal eyes (imho), this is as good as poetry gets in photography... folks in reality, the artist, and the wise all captured in one scene. technically, it is way beyond me to know how it could be otherwise rendered.  "7" ;-} dp

Thank you Stan. I took a dozen of photos to come up with this one as the best. Chances to obtain sharp young player with hand-held camera on long expo was slim..Next problem was to escape distortions on a building..You make me believe I can actually produce a decent image from time to time...BR, vf

Thank you dear...really glad u like it. Like my friend Dennis Czund said once: You have to look around yourself in a different way...sometimes I manage to fulfill his suggestion..If it would be possible I would like a completely naked man reading newspapers instead of an old lady..BR, vf

Both Stan and Donna made great comments and I can't agree more. I think it also is a great comment on 'life' today and how varied others 'live it'. Different stages in their 'journies', yet we live together still within 'one world'. Some of us 'Dance to the music of Life', others are to busy to even hear the 'music', some are the ones enjoying 'playing along' to the 'music' while even other's enjoy the time between the 'dash' - standing still just long enough to breathe and take it all in, the sounds, the flavours, the aromas, feeling the 'energy' as it 'swirls' about them, and taking time for 'contemplation.

A fine additon to your already excellent Portfolio!

My warmest regards, Gail

Vladimir, I really like the contrast of the frenzied movement on the left to the serenity of the musician and the woman. I like the color palette of the other one, but think I prefer the composition of this one. They are both very nice.
