Taking Care Of Business

Most of the work involved with this shot was making the 1 inch tall

paper. I even made the inside pages, just in case they showed in the

Thanks everyone.  Trisha, I got laid off about 9 months ago, so I am unemployed at the moment.  It's kind of obvious I have way too much time on my hands, isn't it?:)  Some papers in the UK have bought several of my mantis pics in the past and that was the whole point of this shoot.

Tom, you are very talented.  These compositions are so cool.  Hard to imagine a guy with your skill set would be unemployed very long.  Aloha.

How did you get that thing to pose for you like that?

I used a stick to direct her around to stand there and I had a stretched out small paperclip taped to the inside of the paper and leading out of the frame to where I was holding it. Pretty easy clone job to remove the paperclip.
