Agae chokes tranquil ponds. This break through of autumn offered

unique interest and beauty to this isolated, restful spot. A nearby

bench afforded the chance to stop and cherish the silence. Thoreau

and Frost would both be at home here. As always your comments

are much more valued than ratings. Thanks for taking your time to

share your thoughts and let me know you stopped by.

Best wishes. Larry

It i indeed unusual, like a parting curtain a glimpse of the scene behind is revealed, the dark boughs and golden foliage a testement to the fallen leaves and the season, but I think the overiding element is the sense of stillness, its very earthy and compelling with an almost tangible atmosphere. I like it!

Best Regards

Alf

Hi Alf, you are correct.  While I was there, I young woman sat quietly on a bench sketching on a pad.  She enforced the silence and stillness.  I appreciate your comment.     Larry

Hi Linda,  Thanks for looking at this image.  It's always nice hearing from you. You probably have a beautiful fall in BC right now.  Best to you.   Larry
