On Friday here in Southern Ontario, it was a very hot and humid

BONUS day. Folks even flocked to the Beaches, all weekend

actually. It was our Thanksgiving Weekend in Canada. Many

activities were on at various locations, if not there, others enjoyed the

company of Family and Friends. On the Friday my husband and I

decided to go for a drive to take in the Fall Scenery. A little town

close by has a very interesting Antique Shop, almost packed to the

ceilings with all sorts of 'Collectables'. The Sun was very bright

streaming through the front window. I always love the old bottles.

Many items are crooked as the shelf holding up these breakables

is 'curved' under the weight of it's many 'treasures'. (thankyou for

visiting, Gail)

I'm satisfied with the spectacle and with the framing and with the text and with the colors and with the layout and not so satisfied with the small size Gail! You are not professional and you don't have to hide your pictures in form of thumbnails in order to protect your intellectual property, ha!

Cheers to that!

P.C. I clicked on the picture and it suddenly grew up, sorry for accusing you in vain Gail!

Beautiful colors and editing. I like red as the most important color within a given  photograph! Warm Regards, Olaf

I like everything in this image also, as the tight cropping has given a special effect to this work while the colors of the glass work is very appealing, the frame work colors are working superbly with the inside contents and presenting this image in a remarkable form.

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

Strong, bright colour.  Unconventional for the ancient and dusty, but it works beautifully.  I particularly like the Coke bottle behind the big amber bottle.  The "Hobble-Skirt" shape is unmistakable.  The bold edge between amber and yellow bottles is also great.  best, j

Hello Gail,

Lovely tones in the glass, the reflections adds to the strength.  I am however not completely convinced about the frame.  It takes awaythe attention from the bottles.  But that is maybe just my personal taste.

Well Done,
Ben

I love the colours but I'm so glad I read your foreword before I blabbed and preached about the angle of the bottles : - )

Your story and explanation really puts the viewer amongst the scene and the warm reflections add further dimensions to an already impressive rendition of the scene. Great observation and opportunism Gail, very well done!

Warm Regards

Alf

The previous collage shows just how much the shelves were bent under the weight of all the bottles. I added a gradient in the background because the bright sunlight had the background and part of the top corners of the bottles blown.

I loved the Amber colour in the bottles. Actually I love seeing old bottles on shelves where the sun can reflect to the inside of a home a store.

Thanks Alf, your support and suggestions are always so welcome. You have a great heart and outlook on helping whenever you can,  most sincerely,  Gail
