single photos Island in the Sky

Heavy coastal fog surrounds Stanley park at dawn. The overlook from

Cypress Mountain on Vancouver's north shore mountains is a popular

destination for tourists and photographers who are looking for an arial view

of the city. On this particular morning I was not alone, I was surrounded by

roughly fifty other photgraphers.

Great light on the tops of the clouds.  I think your were very fortunate to have a small amount of fog drifting through the trees on the "island," thereby giving some greater definition to the trees in what would otherwise be a pretty dark mass.

50 other photographers?  If I had been there I think I would have made it 49 and missed a great shot.
