Waves coming at you!

I wonder why you have no comments to this beautiful photo. At first sight it might seem like a simple shot, but it is not. I believe your timing was superb, as well as the framing. The angry sea and the wind.... and the reddish color make this a very artistic photograph. I hope you get mor comments on this picture, it certainly deserves it.

Glad you like this take.You are correct when you note that timing is important when shooting waves as the scene is forever changing.The reddish color is from soil in suspension stirred up by the repeated wave action.Only thing I could not project in the photo is the ambiant cold, finger-numbing wind on that piece of beach.
