Hi Lester,

A wonderful scene capture.

While the details show some of the facts, what lens and settings was used  for this capture ?

Best Regards,  Mike

Ally, Ruud, Daniela, Wobby, Heinz & Mike,

Thank you for your visits. Your comments highly appreciated.

Mike,

I am using D300 and Leica R lenses with Nikon mount adapters. For this, a 75-200 Vario-Elmar + TC200 Teleconverter was used. Can't remember the details since the lens does not provide EXIF data in the camera. However I guess it must have been about 1/80 or 1/160 with the lens @ f.5.6 (as you can see from a shallow dof) and concentrated focus on the wave splash which was near shore. The waves are not high enough because these waters was coming from the lake. A late afternoon shot, the image was processed in CS4 and the blur was exaggerated using the 'motion blur' slider placed at 180deg. on a different layer. Image was merged, match color applied and sharpened.

Thanks so much for dropping by. Regards 1  -  Lester
