Technically, the success of this image is due to the proper  use of the 24mm set to F/2.8 with your Nikon D300 S . The clarity of the image is superb.

Great depth and detail capturing the essence of the street at night, not easy to get such sharp crisp detail at night, whilst controlling the light from sources like the street lamps. Very well done!
