Indeed this is a very beautiful creation again, a portrait of very high skill and very creative lighting here and well detailed, I do like the tone of this image, it is driving the viewers to the old days photography, specially the tone which is very unique and getting this image in a superb form.

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

A very creative image with a deep meaning for me right now. Right now I am kind of lost in emotions with the loss of my back yard tree. My yard man took the words of pruning the tree and shop it down to two feet above the ground. When I saw it, I gasp for air and a strenge pain has set in my heart that I can not get rid of it, I can not believe I have participated in cutting this gorgeous tree down. I did and assume total responsibility. This morning before getting in the computer I had a half hour of deep conection with the tree and the force of nature. I felt that nature was forgiving me and passing on to me inner peace, but insisting that I learn a deep lesson from it. It happens Thursday and I am in deep pain for nature and myself. I am wondering what deep connection is there with this tree offering himself for me to experience a deep appreciation for nature. I can not stop looking at trees and thinking of my loss and my deep sorrow for its loss. It is a type of tree that comes back strong from the shootings. The yard man offer to open a hole in it middle and pour gasoline to kill its roots. I say no and deeply felt that some how the tree was offering himself in a total sorrender for me to make a decition on his final fate.  The yard man said, if you don't kill its roots it will come back stronger! I know I am letting my gorgeous tree come back stronger and deal with its growth!  Do you have an idea what is the big lesson I have to learn from this incredible experience. I can only feel that it is connected to lift judgement to others and become more humble. What to you think?Take good care my dear friend.

I am not sure what lesson is to be learned in your situation, but I do know - that if a tree is getting overgrown and unruly, you can chop it right back, and even take a shovel and shove it deep into the ground and sever some of the roots.

This may sound very unkind, but in truth, the 'tree' will take up the 'challenge' and 'fight' for survival or if too weak perhaps will die.

I am wanting to look positive on this unfortante ordeal that you are experiencing. Althougth you are experiencing very deep grief over what you perceive as the loss of this tree, perhaps the tree has 'surrendered' itself to teach you a very deep and meaningful lesson in life. It may not be one that  you will connect with now, but perhaps it has happened so the tree may GLORIOUSLY come back to 'LIFE' before you actually happen upon the circumstance that you will 'draw' much 'strength' from during this very 'trying' time.

This incidence has caused you much 'pain' and you have drawn 'inward' to  try to find an answer, try to find some meaning....for at this moment the hurt is 'too real' for you to 'see clearly'.

Do not look to your PAIN......concentrate on the LESSON. This vibrant tree was so strong and healthy it was becoming so OVERGROWN. In our lives right now, we are so inundated with the 'pleasures and lure of pleasures of this world. WE are so 'saturated' by this commercial onslaught, whether it be by Media, by those we come in contact with, those our children and granchildren are influenced by; we have become TANGLED.

And just as a tree that is being 'choked' by it's very own branches, so do our lives become 'choked' at times. We have so many 'things'. Too many 'things'. We gather many to remind us of good times, of childhood, or perhaps they are just lovely 'things' that we do not wish to part with. But when you get right down to the 'barebones' of life - do we really need all these 'things'???

They often serve only to draw our attention away from the 'important emotional ties' we have with the earth and the universe. With the one 'power' we rely on to rejunenate our Souls. 24 hours in one day has become not nearly enough time to take care of all the things we find important.

Perhaps it is time to 'prune back' the things that are robbing our lives of very important 'energy' and taking away our attention from the 'basics' necessary for us to survive 'simply and happily'. I know myself, I worry too  much - and you can get caught  up in 'worry'. So caught up that we don't see clearly, thoughts become 'jumbled' - concentrating on one 'thought' becomes difficult.

I certainly do not have all the answers 'jorge', but if we try to look at this 'incidence' in a POSITIVE manner - perhaps the 'tree' sacrificed it's 'beautiful' looks, to SHOCK you. It certainly worked didn't it? Thankfully you did not allow the 'gardener' to DESTROY the tree. That is a good sign. Now you have this 'tree' that is 'stripped from all it's beauty', on the outside, but it is still the beautiful tree in your mind that  you have always  had.

I wonder if NATURE  is much WISER than we are? I think your tree is 'teaching you' and those you know a very good lesson, and over time it is going to prove that even though, it is 'devoid' of all the 'tangled brush', removing the many branches that were draining the energy from the tree, will allow it to 'RE-EMERGE' even more beautiful !!!! Your tree will be a living example how 'one can rid one's life of all the DISTRACTIONS that DRAIN our ENERGY. When we are finally FREE to really SEE LIFE -- concentrate on the IMPORTANT ones in our lives and not the SUPERFICIAL, we too will BLOSSOM and GROW at a new LEVEL OF EMOTIONAL WISDOM.

I do not think these things just happen by CIRCUMSTANCE, they occur for a very IMPORTANT REASON. It may take some SOUL searching, but I am sure if you try hard to LOOK BEYOND YOUR GRIEF, and remember the BEAUTY and the LOVE you felt for this tree, you will find a COMPARISON to your life. This is pretty DEEP 'STUFF', but you are very wise, and I KNOW you will look to this INCIDENATE and gather strengh and wisdom. LEARN from the TREE, STUDY how it gathers STRENGTH TO SURVIVE. Often we have to 'draw from within', spend time in 'quiet' thought and inner contemplation. I think what you have percieved as a 'terrible disaster' has truly been a wonderful 'BLESSING' and 'OPPORTUNITY' in your life.

This tree needs your POSITIVE VIBES right now, it will not FLOURISH on GRIEF. And as you tend to it lovingly, so will you 'fertilize' your Spirit, for it takes TIME and PATIENCE to look at this tree that is bereft of it's beauty, but you KNOW it will SURVIVE ! Perhaps there is even someone in your life that you need to look upon with 'FRESH EYES'.

When the Soul does not feel there is a 'WAY BACK' to the 'SIMPLE AND JOYOUS BELIEFS' that once made it so easy to SURVIVE, often we have to be 'SHOCKED' into 'BELIEVING' that, YES, WHAT ONCE SEEMED A LONELY PATH, is not so LONELY, what ONCE seemed A 'heavy burden', when 'looked upon with FRESH EYES', does not feel so HEAVY AT ALL.

As I said - I certainly do not have all the answers, I only know what I have gone through recently, and do know, that all the 'trappings' of this world, all the 'trivial' things that seemed so IMPORTANT, (even those that I have worried about on PN) are NOTHING when I compare them to the LOSS I have recently felt for my Mother. Unfortunately she is not COMING BACK, but I do know 'her beauty and example' will live in my heart for always. Your tree - THANKFULLY is still here. When I worked for Garden Centres, we often CUT BACK trees and shrubs very VIGOROUSLY, (also in landscaping), and you would be surprised what NEW BEAUTY is revealed.

I care very much for you Jorge, rid your mind and Soul of the weight of this burden, and rather CHOOSE TO LEARN from this, for what is FAITH jorge? It is the SUBSTANCE  of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE  of things not seen. EXERCISE your FAITH jorge ! and REJOICE !

Your dear friend and pal here on PN, Gail

You have expressed much wisdom and undertanding of the process of life! I undertand the tree is a symbol for a much deeper lesson I am going through right now. Your acceptance of the passing of your mother was a powerful example of accepting something so powerful that appears unverable. You are doing it and learning and teaching with the incredible experience of lossing your dear mother! You have assist me a great deal to beging the process of acceptance my dear Gail.  Thank you for taking the time. Take good care my friend.

Al I know is I care about you jorge as you have been a very good friend to me on PN...when I saw your plea for  help I was overwhelmed with a sense of 'need' for you. I do hope I helped in someway....a little bit 'overwinded' but there had to be a reason this happened.

I wish you all the best as you come to terms and learn from this unfortunate time.

Always in my thoughts, Gail
